I’m starting a blog challenge! See info below and if you have suggestions on quotes or how to make this more awesome please leave thoughts in the comments.
Quotespiration:
“What I think is this:
you should give up looking for lost cats and start
searching for your shadow.” –
from Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami
What is Quotespiration?
Quotespiration is a weekly writing challenge running Monday to Sunday each week. Each Monday I post a literary quote to inspire you! Your challenge is to write a flash fiction piece based on the quote. Voting will run the week following each Quotespiration Challenge and the winning piece will be announced when voting closes.
How do I participate?
1. Write some Flash Fiction (1000 words or less)
2. Tag your post “quotespiration”
3. Upload your link by 02/02/2014
4. Vote on your favorite entries! Voting starts Sunday 02/02/14 and ends 02/09/2014
What do I win?
Eternal bragging rights and a re-post of your piece on my blog 02/10/2014!

Hmmm….I like this one. Very tempting. Mind is spinning, but that could be from the vodka.

Vodka sounds like a great accompaniment to writing. Now where is mine . . .

Fun idea! (And interesting quote.) I haven’t seen a quote-based challenge yet, so I hope this gets some attention and participation.

Me too! I’m assuming it will take a while to build up a participant base but hopefully not too long:)
